The story
One installer, start to finish
Blinds and Tint Co is a Melbourne window furnishings and tinting business run by Dany Ibrahim. He started the company in late 2025 after years of long shifts at a steel mill, working a couple of jobs at a time with the goal of building a quieter, more honest trade for Melbourne homeowners and builders.
Dany handles every quote, every measure, every install and every follow-up himself. No work is subcontracted out, no rotating crews show up on different days, and the quote you sign is the invoice you receive at completion. The price written down is the price paid.
The work covers blinds, curtains, plantation shutters, residential tinting and commercial film. Most jobs are residential, with a growing share coming from builders fitting out new homes across the western suburbs. Dany also takes on commercial work for offices, shopfronts and rental properties.

Dany Ibrahim. He founded the business in late 2025 after years working in steel manufacturing, and personally handles every measure, quote, and install across Melbourne. There are no subcontractors, no rotating crews, and no sales reps — the person who walks through your home with the sample books is the same person who comes back to install.
Yes. Dany holds public liability insurance covering all work performed on your property. Every install carries a twelve-month workmanship warranty from the day of completion. Product warranties run separately through the manufacturer — typically five to ten years on blind fabrics and mechanisms, ten to twenty-five years on plantation shutters, and ten to fifteen years on window films.
Because the quality and accountability drop the moment a second pair of hands is involved. Every measurement, every bracket, every film application is done by Dany. If something is not right, there is one phone number to call and one person who fixes it. Owner-operated means the person whose name is on the business is the person standing in your home.
Blinds and curtains are sourced from Australian wholesale suppliers including Deco Window Fashions and Windoware — both supply roller, Roman, honeycomb, and curtain fabrics in a wide range of blockout, sunscreen, and translucent options. Window tinting films are sourced from 3M and other architectural film suppliers rated for the Australian climate. Specific brand and fabric options are discussed during the free in-home measure with physical samples in your actual light.
Roughly a forty-kilometre radius from Fraser Rise in Melbourne's west. That covers Geelong in the southwest, through Werribee, Point Cook, Tarneit and Altona, across the inner west to Footscray and Yarraville, north to Sunbury and Craigieburn, and east to Glen Waverley, Doncaster and Brighton. Jobs outside this zone are quoted on a case-by-case basis.
